Assignment description
The client is a dynamic team managing and developing leading e-commerce platforms. These platforms serve a wide range of customers, providing spare parts, batteries, accessories, and related products, mainly for mobile products such as smartphones and tablets. Our goal is to deliver intuitive, high-performance websites that cater to customer needs while staying at the forefront of e-commerce innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
– Build and maintain e-commerce functionalities using Vue.js and Fastify
– Develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces that reflect our commitment to exceptional customer experience
– Debug and resolve technical issues to ensure a seamless user experience
– Work with backend developers to integrate and manage APIs for product catalogs, inventory, payments, and shipping

About the team
The team consists of the CTO and 3 Back-End Developers. You will collaborate closely with marketing and have access to external design support when needed.

Must haves
– 7+ years of combined experience in Frontend Development (Vue.js) and UX/UI Design for web applications or e-commerce platforms
– 2+ years in Vue.js and Fastify development, particularly in e-commerce projects
– Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
– You possess a good knowledge of design tools such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and Photoshop
– Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar
– Experience delivering user-focused web solutions with strong attention to UX and usability
– Experienced in visualizing solutions with wireframes, visual designs, journey maps, and prototypes
– Take ownership of features from initial idea through implementation, considering usability, functionality, and business goals.
– Attention to detail in translating designs into functional and visually appealing interfaces
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions
– Good communicator in both verbal and written English

Other requirements
Strong ability to work independently, set priorities, and meet deadlines without constant supervision. A self-starter who is eager to contribute ideas and improve processes.

About the customer
The customer operates several large B2B and B2C e-commerce platforms in Sweden. As a distributor, they provide repair companies with spare parts and accessories, mainly for mobile products such as smartphones and tablets.
