Assignment description

Key Responsibilities:

– API Development & Integrations: Design, implement, and maintain robust API integrations between Visma Business and other enterprise systems.

– Customization & Development: Develop custom modules, scripts, and extensions within Visma Business to support business operations.

– Process Automation: Automate workflows and processes within the Visma ecosystem to improve operational efficiency.

– Documentation: Produce high-quality documentation for all developments, configurations, and integrations, ensuring clarity and maintainability.

– Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and other developers to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.

– Support & Maintenance: Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and optimization of Visma Business processes and integrations.

– Best Practices: Ensure compliance with coding standards, security protocols, and industry best practices

About the team

The development team is primarily located in Szczecin, Poland. They also have 2 developers in Åre (north of Sweden) and some developers in Stockholm. However, this work will be very individual and you will report to the CTO and also to the Head of Development.

Must haves

Technical Skills:

– Expertise in Visma Business ERP and its underlying data structures.

– Proven experience in building API integrations (REST/SOAP) with Visma Business. – Strong understanding of SQL and experience with Visma Reporting tools.

– Familiarity with programming languages such as C#, .NET, or VBScript for custom development.

– Experience with web services, JSON, XML, and integration platforms.

– Solid understanding of authentication mechanisms (OAuth, API keys, etc.) for secure integrations.

– Experience with ETL processes is a plus. Documentation Skills: – Strong ability to produce clear, concise, and detailed technical documentation, including API specifications, integration guides, and system workflows.

– Experience using Confluence & Github.

Qualifications: 

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 

– Minimum 5 years of experience working with Visma Business. 

– Proven track record of developing API-based integrations. 

– Certifications in Visma Business or related technologies are a plus.
