Assignment description
As a Senior Developer, you will take a leading role in designing, building, and optimizing our platform across both frontend and backend. You will be responsible for ensuring our applications are scalable, performant, and maintainable, with a strong focus on real-time communication, backend architecture, and cloud hosting. This role goes beyond implementation – you will also contribute to architectural decisions, guide technical strategy, and mentor other developers.

You will:
– Develop and optimize UI components and design patterns with a strong focus on performance, accessibility, and scalability.
– Design, implement, and improve backend APIs using NestJS, including real-time communication with Sockets and efficient data handling powered by Redis.
– Define and maintain clear API contracts, data models, and backend architecture to ensure seamless interaction between frontend and backend.
– Work on hosting, deployment, and operations in Heroku and Vercel, including CI/CD pipelines, logging, monitoring, and scaling strategies.
– Ensure robust real-time features (notifications, live updates, etc.) with high availability and low latency.
– Code reviews, knowledge sharing, and establishing best practices.
– Contribute to system design decisions and help shape our long-term technical roadmap.
– Collaborate with designers to deliver responsive, accessible, and user-friendly solutions.
– Work across both our web platform and our React Native app to provide a consistent and seamless user experience.

About the team
The team consists of two developers and they report directly to our CEO.

– Version Control & Collaboration: Git, GitHub

Other requirements
– You should be able to work in a small team and be proactive, making suggestions on how the customer can develop their product technically.
– Excellent communication skills for remote and asynchronous collaboration
– At least Upper-Intermediate English level
